Spam / Unwanted Email

If you are receiving unwanted mail in your inbox, there are a few ways to reduce it. A spam filter runs at the server level, but you can also adjust settings on your side.

  1. Sign in at https://mail.gelecekint.com.
  2. Select the unwanted message and click Mark as Spam; the filter learns to recognize similar mail.
  3. For a sender who keeps emailing you, create a rule under Settings > Filters to move their mail to Spam/Trash.
  4. Check your Spam folder regularly; if something is flagged by mistake, mark it as Not Spam.

Recommendations: don't post your address as plain text in public places, don't open links or attachments in suspicious mail, and don't click the unsubscribe link in newsletters you don't recognize. During a heavy spam attack, we can raise the filter level for you; forward sample messages to destek@gelecekint.com.
