"Attachment too large", "message size limit exceeded", or a mail that simply won't send indicates that the file you attached exceeds the size limit. Since email wasn't designed for large file transfer, every server has an attachment size limit.
Why is there a limit? When mail is transported, attachments are encoded and become about 30% larger than their actual size. Also, the recipient's server has its own limit; even if you send it, the other side may reject it. That's why sharing large files as a link instead of a mail attachment is the healthiest method.
Recommended solutions:
Mind your Sent folder: Mail with large attachments is also kept as a copy in your Sent folder and fills up your quota over time. As you send large attachments, clean out the Sent folder from time to time.
If the problem isn't attachment size: If even a mail with a small attachment won't go, the problem may not be size but the sending settings. Make sure the SMTP is correct: mail.gelecekint.com, port 587, authentication on, username the full email. A wrong SMTP port or disabled authentication also prevents mail from sending.
How large a file can I send? A safe approach is to keep the total attachment size in a single mail at a reasonable level (a link method is generally recommended for files exceeding a few MB). If you need to send a specific file regularly and aren't sure of the size limit, write to destek@gelecekint.com stating the file type and size; let's clarify together the limit that applies to your account and the most suitable sharing method.
