🛠️ Email Troubleshooting · Gelecek İnternet ve Network Teknolojileri
You sent a mail, but the recipient says it "didn't arrive." This situation can have several different causes; let's determine step by step whether the mail actually went out and where it got stuck.
1. Check the Sent folder: Log in at https://mail.gelecekint.com and look at the Sent folder. If the mail is there, it has left your server; the problem is in transit or on the recipient's side. If it isn't, the mail was never sent; the problem is in your sending settings.
2. Did a bounce/error mail arrive? If the mail couldn't be delivered, an English bounce mail usually comes back to you: "Delivery failed", "Mailbox not found", "quota exceeded", and so on. The content of this mail tells you the problem clearly:
3. Verify the recipient's address: The most common cause is a simple typo. Check the dot, the domain, and the letters in the address one by one.
4. Have the recipient check their spam folder: If the mail was delivered but they say it "didn't arrive," it most likely landed in the recipient's Spam/Junk folder. Ask the recipient to check there and to mark your mail as "not spam."
5. Check your sending settings: If the mail can't be sent at all, verify the SMTP settings: mail.gelecekint.com, port 587, no encryption, authentication on, username your full email address. If authentication is off, mail cannot be sent.
6. If you consistently can't reach the same recipient: If your mail only fails to reach one particular company, that company's server may be blocking your address or your domain. In that case it's necessary to check whether your domain is on a blacklist and whether your SPF/DKIM/DMARC records are correct; we can make these improvements.
When writing to us: If the problem persists, write to destek@gelecekint.com with the following: the date-time you sent it, the recipient's address, the full text of the bounce mail if you received one, and whether the mail is in your Sent folder. We will examine the server delivery logs and show whether the mail entered the system and where it was delivered.
