Automatic forwarding rules (filters) let you automatically sort, file, or forward your incoming mail based on its sender, subject, or content. Beyond a simple "forward every mail to here" rule, you can set up smart conditional rules to keep your inbox organized.
Rule examples:
Creating a filter via webmail:
Setting up conditional forwarding: If you want to forward only certain mail to someone else, choose "Forward to address" as the action and enter the target address. If you also want the mail to stay in your mailbox, don't forget to select the "Keep a copy" option; otherwise the forwarded mail won't appear in your own mailbox.
Rule order matters: Filters run in order from top to bottom. If a mail is processed by a rule higher up that says "stop rules", it won't be caught by the rules below. So put specific rules at the top and general rules at the bottom.
Things to watch out for: Be certain when setting up rules with a "Delete" action; a wrong condition can silently delete important mail. Verify the rule you created by sending a test mail from the relevant sender. If a mail seems to "go missing" later, this filter list is the first place to look.
If you want to set up a complex forwarding scenario (for example multiple conditions, or a server-level rule), write your needs to destek@gelecekint.com; we will define and test it for you.
