WordPress is the most widely used content management system. With Softaculous it installs in a few minutes, no technical knowledge required.

1. In cPanel, open Softaculous Apps Installer.
2. Search for WordPress and click Install.
3. Protocol: choose https:// if SSL is active.
4. Select your domain; to install in the root directory, leave the In Directory field blank.
5. Enter the site name and description (these can be changed later).
6. For the administrator, enter a username other than "admin," a strong password, and a valid email.
7. Click Install.

After installation, log in to wp-admin, delete any unused themes/plugins, install a security plugin and a caching plugin, set permalinks to "Post name," and keep everything updated. If you get a "Directory is not empty" error, there are old files in the folder; before deleting them, email destek@gelecekint.com.
