Renewing a Domain Name

Your domain is your brand's address on the internet. An expired domain first goes offline, and then can be registered by someone else. Keeping track of the renewal date is critical.

  1. Log in to your customer panel.
  2. Under My Domains, check the expiry date; make sure your contact email is current (reminders go there).
  3. Click Renew next to the relevant domain.
  4. Choose the renewal term (a longer term reduces the risk of forgetting).
  5. Complete the payment; the new expiry date will appear in the panel.

Recommendations: Enabling auto-renewal is the safest approach. There may be a short grace period after expiry, but don't rely on it; after that the domain enters the redemption phase and the cost rises. If your domain has just expired and your site/email isn't working, act quickly; if you can't renew from the panel or it's in the redemption phase, email destek@gelecekint.com.
